Judith

Investment Manager at Capital Cell
Life Sciences Investor & Geneticist

Judith is an Investment Manager at Capital Cell, where she evaluates and supports early-stage healthcare and life sciences companies. A scientist by training, she holds a PhD in Genetics from the University of Cambridge, and a BSc in Genetics from the University of Birmingham. Judith began building her investment track record alongside her doctorate. As an Analyst at Start Codon, an early-stage venture fund and life sciences accelerator, she supported due diligence, management meetings and go-to-market planning for portfolio companies, and helped its Investment Advisory Committee identify follow-on investors. She went on to shape commercialisation strategy for an early-stage Cambridge healthcare company through the Cambridge Judge Business School, and gained further experience with Cambridge Innovation Capital’s Life Sciences Investment Team, working on healthcare and medtech opportunities. After completing her PhD, Judith joined NLC Health Ventures in Amsterdam as a Venture Development Associate in its biotech team, before moving to her current role at Capital Cell. Judith is well placed to help founders in healthcare and life sciences navigate fundraising, investor relations and translating scientific research into a fundable company.
