Bashar Al-Madani works in applied AI, helping people, start-ups and growing organisations make the practical move from digital to AI. He studied Business Computing, followed by a Masters in Artificial Intelligence, giving him a strong understanding of both technology and the people, processes and organisations it is designed to support.

Alongside his work, Bashar is pursuing a PhD focused on AI and the start-up ecosystem, an area he is especially passionate about. He is particularly interested in how AI can help young companies scale faster, work smarter and create better outcomes for customers, teams and investors.

Bashar helps organisations implement AI in practical, useful ways, connecting it to the tools, systems and workflows they already use. He also supports training and organisational transformation, helping people build confidence with AI rather than feel displaced by it.  His view is that, when implemented thoughtfully, this early phase of applied AI is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to transform lives and organisations for the better.

He remains keen to keep learning from great people and great organisations, while helping ambitious teams use AI to achieve real, lasting and positive change.
